Karyn Field brings over 30 years of experience as an English educator, specializing in teaching middle and high school students while mentoring new teachers. A 2003 Fellow of the Maine Writing Project, Karyn has continually sought opportunities to refine her craft and share professional insights. Her expertise encompasses curriculum design and leadership in accreditation and assessment initiatives. To help round out her experience, she has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Maine, equipping future secondary English teachers with practical skills and knowledge. Passionate about fostering innovation, building strong relationships, and inspiring the next generation of educators, Karyn is dedicated to preparing future teachers for success in their profession.

In her free time, Karyn enjoys spending time with her husband, son, extended family, and friends. She loves traveling, reading and discussing books, and attending live theater performances.
