Dual Enrollment
Our programs offer dual-enrolled college courses. When a student enrolls in a UTC course they can earn high school credit. If the student also decides to enroll in a college course offered at UTC, they become a dual-enrolled student, meaning they are enrolled both in the high school level course and the college-level course at the same time while attending UTC. Many of our programs offer college courses or dual-enrolled coursework, please ask!

1 year or 30 credit College Certificates
A number of our programs offer the amazing new option to complete an entire 1-year college certificate program. Imagine graduating from Eastern Maine Community College 1 month prior to your high school graduation! Interested in saving money, time, and getting to work a year earlier? All you have to do is ask!

Bridge Academy Maine
The Bridge Academy provides a unique opportunity for students to complete up to 24 general education college credits in content areas such as math, science, English and social sciences. Presently, partnering high schools include Hermon High School, forming a collaborative education experience for students who enroll in this program. United Technologies Center, the University of Maine and Community College systems, along with participating high schools are proud to offer this opportunity. Qualifying students will apply to enter this program during the summer between their Sophomore and Junior year. During their Junior and Senior years, students will take dual enrollment college credit courses at their high school, plus attend UTC in a chosen career field. Parents and students do need to be aware that there are some credit fees involved at a greatly reduced rate. Scholarship help is available to qualified students.
