College Courses at UTC
College Courses taken through UTC are Dual Enrollment Courses, meaning our instructors teach the college curriculum as part of their program. Dually Enrolled students are enrolled at both the high school and college level concurrently. Course offerings are subject to change at the discretion of the post-secondary institution.
Students enrolled in a UTC Program that has a Dual Enrollment Agreement will have the opportunity to also enroll in the agreed upon College Course(s). The State of Maine offers up to 12 college credits for free each school year, which is approximately 4 college courses, and includes college courses taken at the sending high school and UTC. Any credits over the 12 free credits will be billed at a rate determined by the Community College and University Systems.
For more information on opportunities for college credit and college pathways, please contact Heather Pelletier, Student Services Coordinator at [email protected].
